Duiwelskloof Primary School was established in 1917. The beautiful school is located between the mountains with the most beautiful view right around the school.
The school's number of pupils currently stands at 580 with a staff of 34, of which 15 are appointed by the Department and the rest by the Governing Body. The language of instruction is Afrikaans and English with two classes per grade.
In extracurricular activities, we stand our ground against bigger schools, with the following activities on offer: athletics, rugby, 7's rugby, netball, hockey, cricket, cycling, cross country, tennis and soccer.
In the area of culture, we take part in Eisteddfod and chess to name just a few.
Every second year we present a revue. What makes it special is that all the learners participate in this.
For fundraising we have our annual Tomato Festival. During this event, there are around 850 learners who participate in the mini netball and bulletjie rugby matches.
